attended a 4 days training course in KL, and we were supposed to fly there on the 4pm flight. but my manager (aka lao ban niang) wasnt able to make it in time. so we forfeited that flight and booked the 6pm one. super gancheong, she's actually worse than my mum (i never thought that was possible).
reached 2 hours later at sunway pyramid, and spent half an hour negotiating for corporate rate. it's just the first of 5 tiring days, cause we spent the remainder of the evening looking for a massage parlour located somewhere lbn can't recall.
hotel breakfast was only ok, enough variety but only the breads were worth any mention. and then it was time to hit the books.
course included a lot of refreshments, and then lbn kept finding food to eat.
xmas deco were so nice in the complex!
memorable things of the trip include:
(1) thai massage that made me feel like the masseuse was exercising me.
(2) clubbing (my first time ever) - lotsa smoke, lotsa alcohol, nothing fun actually. it just boiled down to a feeling of extreme sleep depravity and tiredness after sleeping at 3am.
(3) xmas-y nails~
chionged home to catch 2 hours of shut-eye before meeting the girls to go chalet. played mahjong and had our xmas exchange. this year's lot-drawing was the fastest. lol got earphones from yj, and ty got us xmas ornaments from eastern europe, kl got us keychains from KL. pictures to be posted when ty sends them. =)
stayed awake the whole night to play monopoly deal and loot. and 3 remaining survivors chatted till daybreak. cleaned up and checked out to eat KFC breakfast.
and then i was asleep for 5 hours. (finally got my piggyness back, in KL i slept poorly!)
family going to genting on 24-26 dec 2010, and malacca in mid-jan. when i already have this much passport chops this year.
so i shall not accumulate any more for this year, but only go for the malacca trip next year. the omg thing is it's going to be the extended maternal side family.会想念那可以依靠的感觉。
